SuperJet International, a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica (a Finmeccanica Company) and Sukhoi Holding, announced the signature of a Letter of Intent with South African Airways Technical for MRO services to support Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (SSJ100).

The announcement was signed today by Mr Alessandro Franzoni, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International and Captain Stefan Poprawa, Acting Chief Executive Officer of South African Airways Technical.

By the execution of this preliminary agreement, South African Airways Technical will join the SJI Airframe Authorized Service Centers Network for SSJ100 aircraft fleet.”
